She is the daughter of famous actress Moon Moon Sen and granddaughter of legendary actress Suchitra Sen. Riya made her acting debut in the Bengali film industry with the film “Vishkanya” in 1991. She then made her Bollywood debut with the film “Style” in 2001. Some of her notable movies include “Jhankaar Beats”, “Apna Sapna Money Money”, and “Shaadi No. 1”.
